Parts Counterperson


Country Club Auto Group, Oneonta’s premier vehicle source, has an immediate employment opportunity for a Parts Counterperson at Country Club Motors. Our stores have a history of growth and supporting our surrounding communities, great employees are the foundation of our business.



PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:



· Promptly meet and greet Parts customers professionally and courteously

· Promptly answer incoming phone calls professionally and courteously

· Document customer requests in a thorough, complete & legible manner

· Maintain, secure and update Customer information in the our records

· Use electronic or hard copy catalogs to determine part(s) needed

· Locate needed parts from factory warehouses and other sources

· Offer customers related items to complement part requests

· Provide accurate estimates for part requests, both pricing and delivery times

· Clearly communicate total cost & verify payment for special orders

· Check on the special order status & update customers

· Contact Parts customers when their orders arrive

· Bill out parts on invoices and repair orders and issue credits as needed

· Process incoming and outgoing parts orders

· Pull and package parts for periodic returns to factory warehouses

· Maintain accurate inventory records at all times

· Make deliveries to our local customers

· Work with all dealership staff in a team effort toward the common goal of providing excellent customer service to every customer

· Maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times





EDUCATION / SKILLS EXPERIENCE:



· Applicants must have good communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate in person, over the phone and in writing

· Applicants must have the ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments & handle multiple tasks simultaneously

· High School diploma or equivalent

· Applicants must be detail oriented and well organized

· Applicant must have a clean NY driver’s license

· Experience in a dealership Parts Department preferred

· Experience with Dealer Management Systems (DealerTrack) preferred

· Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Office applications a plus
